Participate in program planning prior to camp opening. Ensure a full personal understanding of all emergency and safety procedures as covered in staff training.

Before Camp, help plan the menu and create shopping lists. Ensure that nutritious meals are provided on time, in consultation with Program Director.

Complete food preparation tasks as directed by the Cook

Develop, implement, and evaluate emergency procedures in cooperation with other staff

Assist the Selection Committee in hiring Program and Kitchen Staff. Meet with Program and Kitchen Staff team prior to the summer program for orientation and planning. Organize and participate in Staff Training Program in conjunction with the Program Committee prior to commencement of Camp session. Provide help in orienting new staff prior to the camping season

Supervise all waterfront activity

At the direction of the Program Director, fill in for a Cabin Leader while that Leader is on break, help plan staff plan and run a variety of activities, and help Camp run smoothly.
