Qualifications:
Be at least 19 years of age
Have previous experience working in a kitchen that serves large groups of people, preferably in a camp setting.
Must be highly organized and flexible to changes in menu.
Have BC Food Safe Certification
Duties:
Before Camp, help plan the menu and create shopping lists.
Ensure that nutritious meals are provided on time, in consultation with Program Director.
Ensure that meals take into account any dietary needs or allergies of campers or staff.
Communicate any changes in menu to Program Director.
Supervise Cook’s Assistants
Maintain a clean workplace and follow cleaning schedule as outlined in the Camp Grafton Policy Manual.
Model enthusiastic, mature leadership to campers and volunteers.
Be sensitive to and strive toward fulfilling the Mission of Camp Grafton.
Wage: $136/day
