Cook’s Assistant (Volunteer)

Risk Assessment: MODERATE

Qualifications:

  • Be at least 16 years of age 

  • Previous experience working in a kitchen that serves large groups of people, preferably in a camp setting is considered an asset.

  • Be able to follow instructions

  • Have BC Food Safe Certification

Duties:

  • Complete food preparation tasks as directed by the Cook

  • Help Serve food

  • Help maintain a clean workplace and follow a cleaning schedule as outlined in the Camp Grafton Policy Manual.

  • When no kitchen tasks are to be completed, participate in Camp activities with permission from the Cook.

  • Model enthusiastic, mature leadership to campers and volunteers.

  • Be sensitive to and strive toward fulfilling the Mission of Camp Grafton.

Weekly honorarium available: $300
